- CHEMISTRY. There's definitely chemistry between Marian Rivera and Alden Richards despite their age. Their acting pulls the age off.
- HD. If it's just for the trailer, then the trailer is great in high definition. GMA Network must realize that ABS-CBN has been using HD cameras already for their primetime soap operas. Carmela, if it is ever a good story, deserves HD full-length.
- CASTING. The cast is good so far. Especially the grandmother role of Ms. Laurice Guillen. It will definitely leave a mark to the audience.
- ROI VINZON. Looks like this is yet another role that people remember of him.
