GMA Network has already been preparing for their newest reality talent search entitled Anak Ko Yan. To be hosted by Jennylyn Mercado, Anak Ko Yan will feature kids from 7-17 years old who will showcase their talents. The twist is: their stage parents will be highlighted as well.
In the field of performing arts, stage parents are those who accompany their children while the latter do their showbiz duties. They're usually the managers of their own children and most of them are the source of pressure for their children.
While their actions are honorable, there have been prejudices towards stage parents. That even when they are there to push their children for success, it's actually their own dreams that didn't get fulfilled that they're trying to have materialized through their children.

ReplyDeleteparang ang negative ng dating ng nagpapayabangan na parents na napapanood na teaser. their kids may be talented pero baka sa negativity ng parents mahatak pababa... sana wag ganun.
ReplyDeleteyeah you are very very right Valerie...negative talaga ang dating!! hindi na siya healthy s mga bata, baka iniisip nila tama ginagawa ng parents nila na nagpapayabangan..!! in the end baka gayahin sila ng mga anak nila perhaps in school....NEGATIVE talaga..
