The Voice of the Philippines, the Competition to Beat!

The Voice of the Philippines is about to set a phenomenal success on Philippine TV!

For the first time, the four coaches Lea Salonga, Bamboo, Apl.De.Ap, and Sarah Geronimo gathered together. Today, the four coaches are scheduled for the official press conference of the show. The mock blind auditions is also set to take place within the day. It would be the first time for the coaches to try out the revolving chairs.

The selection process was finalized right before the Holy Week vacation. Days after the Holy Week, the band rehearsals started. In the band rehearsals, each of the 100+ contenders had their chance to record the 90-seconder audition piece with the band of the show. They were given audio recording of the rehearsal for their practices at home. With this process, the viewing public can expect high quality entertainment during the Blind Auditions.

We want to give you a glimpse, the outsider's perspective, to the show before the Blind Auditions start this Monday.

Kapamilya Gold Facebook Fan Page of ABS-CBN also released a photo of the "official venue" for The Voice of the Philippines. We have yet to hear officially from the production team of The Voice of the Philippines about this venue. Buzz online had it that the venue will be in Bulacan where the network is building their soundstage. Contrary to that, Kapamilya Gold stated that the venue will be at Newport City where a state-of-the-art facility is capable of delivering the needs of the international franchise.
The venue looks very promising. We await to see how the production team would transform the place into the brand look of The Voice. However, there's also buzz going around that the Blind Auditions will take place in a different venue. At ABS-CBN studios perhaps?

The excitement is building up. Before all these, fans have been looking for stuff online. Thanks to the Instagram account of one of their staff Marcus Joseph Vinuya who has been posting discreet photos of the show. Here are some...

Team THE VOICE PHILIPPINES
With all these preparations they have been doing, it makes the public get more and more and excited. The Voice of the Philippines is the competition to beat this season on Philippine TV. Mind you, the unsung artists they have included are the best by far in the field of singing here in the country. It will certainly 'up' the standards of TV competitions. Yes, it's a franchise but the country can still be very proud of how the production team has carried out and will carry out the responsibility given to them by the international team.
