The soap opera of Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta slated to air last January 2014 will finally be aired in the second half of this year. In the first press release, the cast was supposed to include Enchong Dee. This time around, it seems like Dee is out of the cast and JC De Vera is in as a major cast. But let's still see.
You're My Home will soon hit primetime on ABS-CBN! Watch the trailer here.
“It’s a family drama that reflects the real-life happenings in Filipino families. The viewers will surely follow in the story how the two families got together and what drew them apart.” -Dawn Zulueta
So the battle for primetime supremacy is not between remakes Let the Love Begin of GMA Telebabad and upcoming Pangako Sayo of ABS-CBN Primetime Bida. The real battle is between the latter versus lesbian-themed soap opera The Richman's Daughter.
It's not genre versus same genre anymore. It's a battle between stellar casts, between stories that will engage audience more, between twists that will make hold on to their seats. And so far, these two have it based on trailers and writeups.

The Richman's Daughter will pilot next Monday and for sure it will take third slot after Let the Love Begin. Starring Rhian Ramos as Jade, her role will not be the only major one to watch out for but of Chynna Ortaleza's as well. Batchi Luna will certainly resound in households. The butch type of lesbian to be portrayed by Ortaleza will, take it from us, be television's most memorable character this 2015.

This one right here is undisputably gaining a good viewership judging on Youtube views alone of its first trailer. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are the hottest teenage actors in this generation.
But Star Creatives leveled up the game by going beyond the KathNiel fever and offering viewers a more engaging soap opera. They're doing this by making the storyline execution of the parents also very interesting this time. To be played by Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion and Angelika Panganiban as the new Claudia, the first week will surely be something to watch out for. And it will be a display of acting skills as well for these three.
So what makes a remake a better version of the original? We think that Pangako Sayo 2015 is about to answer that question. And we are about to see in our eyes a better version of the old one. We get this idea through its first trailer that opens with a line, "kung inaakala mo alam mo ang kanilang kwento, nagkakamali ka."

It will be one exciting ride on primetime television this season. After this round will come two reality shows. That's another exciting thing.
Starring Jericho Rosales, Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino, Bridges of Love aired its pilot episode last night. And here are our three impressions of the latest soap opera.
1. Jericho Rosales is given another venue to act but this time with depth.
It's not some love team role that he had in his early years but it's a piece where he can prove to the viewers that he deserves to remain on TV unlike other actors who live by the name of being an actor alone. Thankfully, the role is a protagonist lead unlike his character in The Legal Wife.
2. Storytelling had a good flow. It wasn't hard to follow. The flashbacks were done in style. Thanks to the headwriter BJ Amahan who also did well in the storyline. His name can not be fogotten since he was part of the Magkaribal team that made the tandem Derek-Gretchen hot.
3. We have yet to see if this material fits Maja Salvador. Some observations:
*Cinematography was great.
*The scenes with the little brothers were well-shot.
*SPG all throughout so seems like this is a for-adult soap opera.
Judy Ann Santos is so back! And she's back on primetime for a big hit via Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.
With three directors on the helm namely: Malu Sevilla, Jerry Lopez Sineneng, and Claudio "Tots" Sanchez-Mariscal IV, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala is certainly a soap opera fit for a drama queen, Judy Ann Santos.
The concept of this soap is simple: Enough of Jennifer Lopez. Not that it got its story fully from that movie, but at least the peg as far as the viewers' perspective. But with the Filipino twist, this will surely create another phenomenon among homeviewers.
What's new?
Everything's new! From KC Concepcion playing the antagonist and Sam Milby playing the man who battered the character of Judy Ann, almost everything here is new. It's also fresh because it's not the typical teleserye with the leading man and leading lady concept. It basically tackles the life of the character of Judy Ann who battles through adversity especially troubles in her marriage.
From the teaser, this one seems like a suspense drama. But we'll see. One thing's for sure though, no one can put a Judy Ann Santos down.
The Outsider is certain that Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala will not be lost in the ratings. In fact, it will have more than enough!
