Angel Locsin is Coming Home this 2015

Last week, we put you at the edge of your seats when we posted a tweet about Angel Locsin finally returning to her home. And since it has been clarified by writers days ago that she is not returning as Kapuso, we will finally tell you the reason why we made that tweet. 

She is not returning as Kapuso unlike Iya Villania-Arellano and Empress Schuck this year. But she's definitely coming home to where she belongs-- to the silver screen, the movies.

Last November 7, an Instagram photo came about with Angel Locsin and Olivia Lamasan together. Then rumors came out that she would star in a movie with Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos by 2015. Today, Boy Abunda confirms it with his article at Pilipino Star Ngayon that Locsin is indeed to star in a Mothers' Day presentation of Star Cinema alongside Santos.

Why the Movies is her home
The reason why we call the movies her home is because Angel Locsin seems to have shifted big time career-wise. For the past years, since she transferred to ABS-CBN, it feels like she belongs to the silver screen more than the TV sets. Yes, her shows like The Legal Wife has made some noise but they weren't as loud as her movies did.

Admit it, TV is more like for younger stars these days. On the opposite side, silver screen is for more mature stars like Bea Alonzo and Angel Locsin.


There you have it! Angel Locsin is not going back to GMA Network just because she's being offered Darna again in ABS-CBN/Star Cinema. But she's going home in 2015 back to where she now belongs, the movies.
